Download M-EPF Mobile App for Android Phones

EPFO has released Android App (M-EPF) for pensioners, active provident fund members and employers. This app can be downloaded either from Google Play store using any Android Mobile Phone for automatic installation or it can be directly downloaded from Laptop/ PC (Windows/ MAC/ Linux OS) for manual installation. At present, it runs only on Android OS powered Mobile phones and it does not work on Microsoft Windows and Apple iPhone Mobiles. The EPFO is currently working on releasing separate App for iPhone and Windows Mobiles which is expected to be released later. The following 4 alternative links are ready to download.

Then, you can see 'Save Link' from popup menu for downloading to your Mobile storage.)

If you would have manually downloaded App from mobile, you can find out file name as m-epf.apk (File size: 2.61 MB) in Download folder. Just locate your downloaded installation file from mobile file browser then press install.


If member would have downloaded the installation file from Desktop operating system using Internet Browser/ Fire Fox/ Safari/ Google Chrome, they need to just copy and paste .apk file either to smart phone’s memory card or local storage for manual installation. After moving file from desktop computer to mobile, you need to locate installation file using smart phone browser through specified downloaded file path. After opening file, just press install button.

This App runs well on KitKat and Jelly Bean Android OS powered mobiles. It is also tested on Tablets which is loaded with Android. The App has cool ice blue splash introduction screen and easy to navigate through initial 3 buttons (MEMBER/ PENSIONER/ EMPLOYER).

The App has flat user interface (UI) which is looking clean and it is easy to type text and number. The prompt error messages on the same screen and helping tips on each columns gives more user friendly experience. The user do not require any additional help further. It works faster even though the mobile uses internet connection with lower bandwidths through 2G. It is definitely going to add advantage since every common man can access their provident fund related matters even connected in slower internet speed.
